Was sung for the 200th Anniversary of the Army Chaplaincy. Article published in The Chaplaincy, Spring 1999, “A Sense of Duty—Reflections of a Retired Sergeant Major—71M”. Three articles published in The Family Tree, Genealogical newspaper. Won second place with a poem at Clayton State University: “You Cheap Charley.” The water color painting, “The Hoop Dancer” is on permanent display at The Chieftain’s Trail Museum and Ridge Home, Rome, Georgia.
